celestia-glut software package provides real-time visual space simulation (GLUT frontend), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install celestia-glut
celestia-glut is installed in your system.
Make ensure the celestia-glut package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep celestia-glut *
You will get with celestia-glut package name, version, architecture and description in a table
